Rachel guides the new hot guy, Damian, into the school cafeteria. She nods at the corner table. “That table we call The Circus.” Her fingers form air quotes. “Because they’re all freaks.” She sneers at Pete, who glares back albeit cross-eyed.
Damian raises an eyebrow. He brushes aside her silky blond hair to whisper in her ear.
“Pardon?” she frowns.
He smiles in reply.
Then her body spasms. She looks down to see a baby’s head rip up through her shoulder. Its eyes blink open. Everyone stares in stunned silence.
Rachel is last seen running from the school, both heads screaming.
Like they say… that escalated quickly!
haha – yes – I guess there’s a message here – don’t mess with the ‘freaks’ if you don’t want it to get freaky.
Lol/ boy or girl?
Loved your story and it’s comeuppance theme. Although the name Damien alerted me from the beginning. ‘Sneered’ really defined Rachel. Well done.
Thanks Helen!
the baby? I don’t know that you would be able to tell yet – that would be a whole new story 🙂
Good one!
