I collect teeth. Working as a mortician, this is quite easily done; the relatives of the deceased hardly ever bother about the teeth.
There was one woman, though. She tried to pry open her husband’s mouth during the wake. The silly thing didn’t realize that I had sewn his lips together to avoid his facial muscles marking him with a goofy grin. She did notice, however, that something was amiss and I was nearly caught.
My own teeth rotted when I was a kid.
Now, I spend my evenings trying on my tooth collection for size, looking for that perfect fit.
I enjoyed this even though it was really creepy, especially the ending. Well written and I enjoyed the word choice.
I am pleased that you enjoyed it!
I love tiny horror stories! Awesome job conveying the creep in such a small space.
