As she walked into the ballroom, it was as if she had walked into a bottle of champagne. Golden sparkles illuminated the walls, the tables, even the musicians…it was dazzling.
Her gown was a shimmery lavender, and all eyes fixated on her as she began to dance with her handsome companion. They floated and twirled in unison until the music ended. The enchanted crowd erupted in thunderous applause.
As they walked to their seats, he whispered gently, “Julia, it’s time to wake up now.”
Her eyes opened in the darkened bedroom, her lavender robe on her wheelchair staring back at her.
