Clouds swirled, fogging the wavy reflection in Jenny’s antique hand mirror. She rubbed the glass with a cloth and a crinkled, gray-haired woman appeared. Jenny gasped.
In a raspy French accent, the old woman said, “Two wishes.”
Jenny held up three trembling fingers.
“Deux souhaits, pas trois,” said the woman. “One to do. One to undo.”
Jenny blurted, “A million dollars!”
As the woman’s face faded from the mirror, Jenny’s phone buzzed.
The hospital. A car accident. Her husband.

“Undo! Undo!” she screamed at her reflection.
