The graduation ceremony was well under way. Four hundred graduates down and about the same to go. The Professors sat on stage, facing the Chancellor who gave the ceremonial scroll to each graduate who walked onto the stage.
Professor Annabel whispered to her colleague, “Isn’t it lovely how he speaks to each graduate as they collect their degree?”
“I know, he’s a lovely man.”
The photographer readied himself as the next graduate stepped onto the stage. The Chancellor leaning in close, said to her, “Now turn to the camera and smile as if I have just said something interesting and amusing.”
Haha. This one was fun. Loved it.
