Hey Stink Breath,
Leaving some new gloves here for you. It’s been raining a lot. I thought maybe it’s snowing up there.
Couldn’t find your old ones. You left your room super messy and Mom doesn’t wanna change anything. That’s ok because she’d probably make me clean it and I STILL don’t wanna do your stupid chores.
Birthday’s tomorrow. I’ll FINALLY get my own presents. Mom’s gonna leave a slice of cake here, too. I hope you still like chocolate because we’re not getting two flavors.
Blow out the candles with me, ok? I don’t wanna do it alone.

Powerful story, balancing carefully crafted descriptions with what is left unsaid.
Wow – what a strong piece. We get so much in so few words. Excellent.
So much goes unsaid but is still clear as bell. Well done.
Beautiful, poignant, and powerful.
