How to Find More Readers

You want a lot of people to read your story, right?

Below are some quick and easy ways to promote your story and find more readers.

But first…

What Time is It?

  • Be aware of what time it is when posting to any of these resources. Posting in the middle of the night is pointless.
  • The majority of our audience lives in the United States. A good time to post is between 6 A.M. and 5 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. If you don’t live in the United States, you can use the Time Zone Converter.

101 Words Facebook Page

Your story is automatically posted to our Facebook Fan Page. In general, Facebook will display your posts to more people if it has gotten some attention. This is is especially true for Facebook Fan pages.

You need to give your story a “jump start”. Once your story has some Likes or Shares, Facebook will show it to more of our Fans.

  1. Visit our Facebook page.
  2. Find your story near the top. Depending on what time you check, it may not be posted yet. Check back later.
  3. Share or Like the story.
  4. Ask some friends to Share and Like the post. The more Shares and Likes you get, the more people will see it.
