Time to create, he thought while staring at the formless void.
With the dance of his fingers across the expanse, a universe came into being. He made galaxies populated with comets, asteroids, nebulae, moons, and stars. Then, he formed the planets and their flora and fauna. People, aliens, civilizations, and languages followed, filling worlds with intricate folktales and histories. He observed and documented it all.
Suddenly, everything went dark. He gasped. “No! I forgot to save my worldbuilding notes before the power went out!”
A light bulb went off in his head. He smiled.
“I should write a story about this instead.”
Well done! Even gods gotta save their work.
