At first, we all thought it was a marketing campaign for Staples or Office Depot. They just dropped from the sky out of nowhere—no helicopter, no blimp, no warning. Some of us thought it was a prank.
Okay. Most of us did.
But even then, we didn’t think much of it at the time. Just last week, some ducks were riding skateboards through Central Park, and my cat could finally sing the Star Spangled Banner after practicing it for months.
Then, the rubber-band balls spoke and gave us a choice: rubber or death.
We chose rubber.
Death wasn’t weird enough.
Good one, K. A. It was definitely weird enough.
Thank you! That’s what I was aiming for 🙂
An outside the box story. The kind I love the most;) The strange, the absurd, the what-the-hell-am-I-reading is the best choice for a rainy afternoon when in need of entertainment.
Thank you! Glad to have met your rainy afternoon entertainment needs 😉
Ha ha … This is super.
Thank you!
