It was getting late. Elizabeth sat at the edge of the waterline. Far-off ship lights played across the ocean’s expanse. James stood behind her, his leather jacket zipped against the night air. His motorcycle boots made muffled noises in the soft sand. He put his hands on her shoulders.
So you won’t take me swimming with you, then? he whispered to her.
He hadn’t changed despite the full moonrise. Elizabeth knew it was time. He wasn’t what she was looking for. And he knew too much. He’d have to be dealt with. Her tail splashed impatiently in the rising tide.
First of all, you had me at, “When the Werewolves Stop Being Bikers, It’s Time To Look for Them Elsewhere!” What a cute and funny little piece. It started my day off with a chuckle.
Loved the title. Very clever piece.
Interesting story with a catchy title.
Nice catchy tale (pardon the pun!) enjoyed your writing
