I picked up the laptop and opened the screen. Writing a story with exactly 101 words could not be that challenging, could it?
I just needed an idea: something from my personal experience, something I could bring to the reader, but what did I have to say? What was insightful or interesting about me? I was boring; there was nothing.
There was a brief knock on the door. A man entered my office. He stood there, clearly trying to get my attention. But I was focused on the laptop.
He coughed softly. Reluctantly, I looked at him.
“Excuse me, Mr. President.”
Clever. Nicely done Daniel. *nods smiling*
Excellent! Loved the end!
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it.
Haha never expected that!
