By the time you’re done reading this, my lungs will have already collapsed.
It’s a beautiful day this summer afternoon. I can vaguely see the pink tree blossoms through the bubbling of the water and the strands of my dirty blonde hair.
But I have nothing left in me to fight. Trying to unlace the familiar fingers that are meticulously wrapped around my neck is quickly becoming a chore.
I want to forget this day ever started.
My body is growing heavy now, and it’s getting harder and harder to exist.
I go to swim in a different world forever.
Goodbye…
Wonderful termination story. Loved the line: “I go to swim in a different world forever.” This one is a Winner!
I appreciate the kind words Bobby. That is my favorite line in this story too.
Very powerful.
