I am a starling flying through the skies. Watch me as I twist left around clouds and bend right around the park benches. I stop for breath on a branch before soaring to the next tree. I love being a bird, living free, breathing the air, a belly full of life.
I catch a glimpse of one just like me. So fast. So focused. We narrow our gaze, sternly at first. We try to avoid each other.
BOOM.
We hit. Hard.
I am on the ground looking up as an old man sprays and wipes the window.
My world goes dark.
So clever & nicely done!
