Emile entered the hidden room inside his late grandfather’s house. A chill clung to the room. In the middle was his grandfather’s long-forgotten painting. “Anyone your grandfather painted had died!” Emile remembered his grandmother’s words.
“Cursed painting, my ass,” Emile muttered sarcastically.
He stood in front of the painting.
It was partially covered in a white sheet of cloth. The exposed part of the painting showed Viktor, Emile’s dead cousin, holding a gun, pointing at someone. Eager to see the rest of the painting, Emile stretched his hand to remove the cloth.
Behind him, Emile heard the cock of a pistol.
Oh ok that’s just epic.
Nice.
Loved it!
Nicely done!
