A Planned Casual

A Planned Casual

By Thriveni C. Mysore

He was a lonely man in the midst of a score of relatives. A pair of lovely eyes in the neighborhood studied him carefully for two years before making her final move.

She met him. It was as casual as she had planned.

The man was taken, yes, floored!

It didn’t even occur to him that things before his eyes were too good to be true; even if it did, he couldn’t care less.

Eventually he was under her unruly rule. A time came when he lost all his self respect.

To undo the ‘I do’ now, would cost him dearly.

The Power of Imagery with Nina Schuyler

September 12 & 13 on Zoom
Enrollment closes Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 PM Pacific

If your descriptions are vivid but your stories still feel thin, this workshop is for you.

Join award-winning author Nina Schuyler to learn the difference between description, which tells a reader what things look like, and imagery, which carries plot, character, and meaning at the same time.

In just two days, you'll learn to choose images that hold emotion without naming it, pair them so each one deepens the other, and build patterns that gather meaning as the story moves.

Really well done mate! Can’t tell if I should feel sorry for either, neither or both of them in their own ways

    Well done.

And perhaps he casually had her sign a prenuptial agreement, safeguarding his vast fortune, mostly in the form of baseball cards and other curios, from predatory eyes.
