Brad didn’t view his approaching 70th birthday as an hourglass with sand and time running out to achieve something. Yes, he failed with work, having never gotten promoted from the accounting pool. He never married, no family or friends to acknowledge his birthday.
Brad flubbed at sports and shunned hobbies save one. He lived in a hovel distinguished only by a rampant garden. But every morning, Brad sprang out of bed to tease the rich earth with his magic fingers. The squirrels and other critters burrowing into Brad’s prized oranges marveled at his handiwork, chittering, Thanks, Brad, for making our day.
Nice, Marc! Thank you for sharing your fine story.

Good read!
He’s a success where it counts.
Thanks for making my dat, Marc
Marc this is a great beautiful read. Not all success is the same
A contented man not bowed by other people’s yardstick of success.
Enjoyed this story and sometimes a person can look back and think of all the things I didn’t do, but does it really matter. Plus age is just a number really no good thinking ‘I am running out of time to do this or that.’ Just take each day as it comes. Really enjoyed this story
