Mike stared off into space and groaned. “Dammit! I hate it when that happens!”
Katie put down her book. “What’s wrong, dear?”
“It’s just so frustrating!”
“What happened?”
Distracted, Mike continued to ignore his wife’s questions. “I feel really exasperated!”
“Please, tell me what’s the matter.”
Mike scowled and crossed his arms. “I’m furious, that’s what’s the matter!”
“What’s making you furious?”
“This sort of thing just pisses me right off!”
“Okay, I get it, you’re upset. But, why?”
“I’m pissed off because…because…”
“Because why?
He took a deep breath. “Because I can’t remember what I’m mad about!”
