Joey stopped at the light in his black muscle car next to Peter and Jonny in their station wagon.
Joey revved the engine. “You need to get a real car.”
“Nah, my car was free,” Peter said.
“So? I get more girls with these 400 horses.” Joey revved it louder.
Peter gassed his engine. “It’s not big, but I cross town in ten minutes.”
“Let’s find out.”
Joey barked his tires. Peter nodded as the light changed. Joey jammed his car in gear and the engine blew up.
Jonny snickered. “That’s what vanity earns you,” he said as Peter drove away.
Great, short funny story. I enjoyed it a lot. Read it twice. I hope the writer, with his excellent writing skills sends more like this.
Thank you.
