A flight attendant asked if I wanted something to drink.
“Yes, an apple juice please.”
The stiff little man to my right turned his head towards me, “I wouldn’t drink apple juice if I were you.”
“Really? What’s the deal with apple juice?”
He torqued his shoulders towards me and dropped his jaw in astonishment, shouting, “Apples are not to be juiced! It’s the FIBER that keeps you regular.”
“You would certainly know something about fiber, wouldn’t you, Mr. Applewood?” I retorted sternly.
Just then an amused flight attendant returned with my juice and asked, “Will the dummy be needing anything?”
An amusing, well written piece. Kudos.
Thank you Kevin.
This is such a cute little story!
Great…. Now I am thirsty for apple juice ??, cute story ~
Very funny! I think I would’ve preferred Mr. Applewood to some of the dummies I’ve sat next to on airline flights.
Thank you Bud. At least Applewood would give you the armrest.
Funny story. And they’re not easy to do.
Clever, ironic and funny. It’s a really great story told in such few words!
Thank you, Eli.
Ha ha! love it!
