When jogging at the beach, I scan the drift for treasure. Yesterday, I found an old, battered, seaweed covered Persian lamp. While polishing it, smoke billowed from the spout as a fearsome genie emerged; he didn’t seem in a wish granting mood.
“For 3,000 long years your kind allowed me to languish in that accursed lamp. I shall now punish all of mankind for not freeing me sooner,” he thundered.
With that he soared into the sky, where he was sucked into the engine of a 747.
I haven’t seen or heard anything of him since. It looks like we’re safe.

Oh I needed that…fantastic, clever. Loved it! I feel safe now.
That was a funny twist on the genie theme. I got a good laugh out of it, and the image a genie getting sucked through a plane engine was priceless.
