Beauty sold her face for just over three million last year. Of all the famous faces this new technology offered to the public, hers was special, perfect, unique, and priced to match. It was the face everyone wanted to smile with.
But then there were thousands sold, hundreds of thousands, and for months you could see her smile at every street corner, her pout in every store, her stare in every window. Her image, over and over, in every crowd.
I saw a stack of her faces at the discount store the other day, $4.99 each, but no one was buying.
So true! This is so wonderfully and cleverly written! Love it!
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the quirkiness of this, and its deeper meaning!
Thank you so much 🙂
Awesome!
I really like the line:
“It was the face everyone wanted to smile with”
Thank you! That line was where I started so that makes me happy.
Great job!
Thank you!
Ha, clever! Liked it a lot.
I’m so glad 🙂
Very cleverly done. Superficial and transient beauty selling us short.
Thank you 🙂
