Ted was back in town and he was coming to my house. I got my video games unpacked and our favorite snacks on the table I asked Mom to prepare. I waited till the doorbell dinged and ran towards the door sprinting, almost spraining my left ankle. And there he was, standing a little taller than me after a year in college.
“Bro!” I heard him shout before brushing my hair and smiting my bottom the way he always did when we were younger. I grunted, something on me flailed its way up. I hope he knew his effect on me.
