“Hey,” my brother said as I grabbed the last piece of pizza. “You had half already.”
“Sucks for you then.”
He threw a fireball towards me. I crammed the rest of the pizza in my mouth and threw one, missing and igniting the curtains.
The smoke alarm went off as we sparred in the kitchen.
“Boys,” Mom yelled, “if you burn down the house again, you’ll be doing chores upon chores.”
I bobbed another fireball in my hand.
My brother frowned. “Didn’t you hear Mom?”
I nodded. “She’s all bark. Besides, maybe we can get a game room with this rebuild.”
lol-so true!!!
Great. Typical kids’ behavior but quite untypical kids.
