A feral cat, a little female, followed me home and scampered inside.
I once had a cat: reeking litter, scarred furniture, gooey hairballs, monstrous vet bills, and sleepless nights when she took sick and finally passed. Never again.
I opened the front door, shouted, “Scat!” Instead, she jumped on my couch and lay staring sphynx-like at me. It was unnerving; I felt dizzy, tired. I decided I’d evict her in the morning and went to bed.
After the soundest sleep ever, I found her curled at my side, softly purring. I went to fill the food bowl for my new owner.
Hello Alab,
The car’s meow
Well done! Well done! Well done!
sorry cat’s meow
Sweet
Cute and more realistic than many would say. That is how it works.
Sooo sweet..
Yes, this happens..
Love this. Been there and done that!
All of the negatives that you mentioned are far outweighed by the love and companionship from a cat. I am on my fourth rescue cat, and wouldn’t put her back out on the street for any reason.
Very nicely done! I’m sure every cat owner can truly appreciate this story.
A story many of us would identify with. A nice little piece.
You captured the heart of the moment, especially when a cat curls up beside you.
