Suman stands on a mountaintop, far from the chaos of the city. Above him, the sky blazes with stars. The full moon glows like a jewel in the dark. He takes out his DSLR camera, hoping to capture this mesmerizing moment.

Suddenly, the camera slips and crashes onto the rocky ground. Suman picks it up, brushes off the dust, and peers through the viewfinder.

Cracks spider across the surface of the moon. Dismayed, he lowers the camera, assuming the lens is ruined.

But when he looks up with his naked eye, the cracks are still there.

And they’re starting to spread.
