An amalgamation of treasure, talent, emotional quotient, and desire are required to produce a Utopian Christmas.
Imagine Christmas as a comet with perfection at the ice ball’s center. Therein families enjoy the zenith of goodwill, expressing mutual fondness as a manifestation of their lives’ positiveness exhibited through the year.
Expanding out from this core, the treasure, talent, emotional quotient, and desire dwindle; perfection in celebration fades in degrees. Here disgruntled wrongheadedness abounds.
At the ice ball’s perimeter reside persons unable to muster bliss; they fail to participate at all.
In the tail abide those whose response to bountiful felicity is suicide.
So Paradise is here represented as a compacted ice ball – reminiscent of what Dante found at the centre of hell. I’ve always suspected that Pure Goodness has a lot in common with Pure Badness. Best to aim for the middle parts of Fortune, we!
May we all be blessed enough to reside in perpetuity in the heart of the comet!
