My pal Eddie took me out on his boat, said we were going shark fishing.
“Hey, Eddie!” I yelled. “Don’t we need one of those buckets of pink stuff you throw in to attract them?”
“No need, buddy!”
I felt a great whack in the head that knocked me upside down, and suddenly I was in the water, bouncing along in the waves behind the boat.
“Eddie, buddy!” I called out. “I’m in the water!”
“Yeah!” he shouted back. “I know!”
The boat curved around to the right then. Straight ahead of us, the water was white and frothy like toothpaste.
Ha ha. Love.
Nicely done!
Nicely done, and love the title!
Ooooh! Salty!
A micro thriller! Amazing!
Glad I’m not a pal of Eddie. Great story.
