Of the twenty-six crew members on the spaceship, Bill is one of the grunts. Bill the gopher, Paul and Phil the janitors, plus four that work in the kitchen.
Bill looks for a good place to sneak a joint. He walks to the far end of the ship and sees a perfect spot. He never sees anybody go into that room except for the janitors.
Minutes later Paul walks by and notices the garbage chute has not been emptied today. He pushes the release button.
Paul hears Bill is missing. He jokes with Phil.
“He’s probably out cold somewhere, really high.”
