Drake was dead sure that he was not alone in his hotel room when the coffee in his cup rippled. Too tired for supernatural nonsense, he simply stood up and made himself a new cup.
‘Hi,’ scrawled the coffee stains on the table.
“Hello, my friend,” he said. “Make yourself at home.”
‘I am home,’ scrawled the coffee stains on the wall.
“Oh, am I intruding on your space?” asked Drake, adding sugar to his coffee. “Sorry, but you’ll have to bring this up with the manager.”
‘I did already,’ scrawled the coffee stains on the door. ‘I ordered room service.’
Creepy! Love the contrast between the guest’s nonchalance and the clearly malevolent intent of the ‘coffee stains’.
