The vest felt like a ton of bricks though it only contained thirty pounds of explosives. His undershirt was soaked through with sweat. Would that affect the circuitry? His heart rate was almost uncontrollable despite his training. His thoughts kept wandering to his family. They were going to discover his whereabouts in the most horrific way. What would they feel about what he was planning to do? The park was filled with women and children. He took a deep breath and walked away. He knew he was a dead man. At least he would meet his Maker with a clear conscience.
A chilling portrayal.
Someone with a conscience. Rare nowadays. Liked it.
Wish more of them had had a stroke of conscience
Interesting story.
