Time dragged lately, and there were never enough positive memories to fill the lonely, dark, and desperate stretches of Anna’s personal narrative.
On days where time passed quickly, Anna regretted how she hadn’t been able to hold on to those easy and fleeting moments a little longer.
She knew positive moments could be readily replaced with treachery and idiocy. But these painful truths of time could never be similarly taken away with ease.
Whenever Anna weighed up her well-being accounting, she appeared to earn five miserable minutes for every happy minute.
This lifestyle featured a disproportionately high tax for suffering depression.
Nicely done Daisy.
This one seems too focused on the gloominess of depression. That’s okay, but shouldn’t it have had something to indicate a more upbeat frame of mind, for contrast? Nonetheless this dealt with a very human problem/condition and was overall a nicely done story.
