I used to hate when people said how much I looked like him. But now I see it. I have a wife and baby now. A beautiful baby girl named Jade. I work hard for my money so that Jade won’t have to, but sometimes it’s barely enough. Just like it was for Dad. Lately I’ve made a habit of looking at myself in the mirror after I shave and walking to the closet to touch the cold steel of the Glock I’ve tucked away on the top shelf, just to make sure it’s there. The girls are always fast asleep.
Clever writing that made me really uncomfortable.
Thank you! I’m glad I accomplished what I was intending.
A very eerie story. Just my kind of thing! A real winner.
Thanks for the kind words, Bobby!
Really liked this one! Well done.
Thank you, Kate!
