I spent a millennium trapped in this cursed tonic bottle. Unbelievable! My ancestors spread beautiful lies about humans getting rich off the wishes we granted, so we thought greedy mortals would free us, ignorant of why their predecessors trapped us in the first place. Somehow, logic overpowered greed in a surprising number of humans.
Hundreds handled my bottle before one was dumb enough to free me. The fool! I can still taste his blood on my tongue and hear his screams echoing through my ears. It was the first meal I’d had in two centuries. My hunger was far from sated.
Awesome job, good use of a good idea!
One eward for writing this piece, Sara……I laughed out loud.
Oh, how fun!!! Loved it.
A true tale of irony and very well written. A Winner!
Awesome perspective, I always wondered why the Djinns never helped themselves. So finally one did. Great Job
