When she saw the house, she should’ve walked on. Instead, she stopped and curiosity got the best of her.
To ordinary people, it was just an ordinary house. But to someone unique, what she thought her eyes saw was a house as elegant as Victorian women and as old as Norse tales, hidden conspicuously between ordinary houses.
With a few awkward steps, she stood in front of the door, unsure of what lay beyond. Was it as magical as she thought or was it just as ordinary?
As she turned the wooden knob and stepped through, she found answers.
I loved the story and just the first 101 words, gave me the impression this would be a great story if it was continued. It leaves the reader staving for what is next.
Great writing.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the comment. How I wish I can make a longer version of this story. 🙂
I love how and where it left me hanging, pining for more.
Good one.
Thank you!! To leave the readers hanging was exactly what I intended to do. So I guess, it was a success. 🙂
Nice story. ??
Love this story Xenia! Nice writing. Would love to see where this leads.
Hello Patty! Thank you. I’ll see what I can do to try and make a real story out of this.
