“Everybody, get ready for the first kiss scene,” the director shouted across the studio floor.
Jade breathed in, concentrating on placing herself in the moment. She glanced at her co-star, Tom. He was pacing around, looking at the floor. Surely he wasn’t nervous?
The director clapped his hands. “OK, guys, ready? Let’s do this… Action.”
Jade gazed into Tom’s eyes…and hesitated. My god, that’s real love. He really does love me. A probe of her own feelings made her smile. She rose on her tiptoes and kissed him hard.
The director looked on, satisfied that one take would do it.
