“A Heart Like Jasper’s” by Allison Cooper via Every Day Fiction
This is a very short piece, and one full of heart. Though brief, the description is clear and the emotion very real; definitely worth the read.
“A Gathering of Ashes” by Gustavo Bondoni via Every Day Fiction
A longer flash piece, this one is more contemplative, and a bit sadder. I only recently discovered Gustavo Bondoni’s writing; I look forward to exploring his stuff more.
“Spell” by Laura Clark via Let It Come From the Heart
This is a lovely little piece, inspired by a writing prompt. It beautifully captures the need to be doing something, with the lack of anything to get done.
