“What the heck do you think you’re doing peeking into my daughter’s window?” my grandfather shouted, just before he tackled Frank to the ground, connecting with punch after punch next to my grandmother’s dogwood tree.
“Fred, stop it! You’re going to kill him!” My grandmother came running out of the house, pulling my grandfather off Frank, who stumbled to his feet, all bloody, running down the street to his car.
“My father is a Philadelphia police officer. He’ll have you arrested!” Frank shouted over the car’s engine.
My grandfather turned to my mother. “Lady Jane, you need to pick better men.”
Leaves me intrigued as to the future of Frank and Lady Jane
A nifty little story, but it needs expanding. I, too, am curious as to what might happen with these characters. You might want to expand this into a longer story, and develop the characters and the conflict, etc.
