Scotty awoke and knew he had crossed over. He had only the memory of the harm he’d caused and the agony of regret.
Surrounded by other empty souls with a debt to pay, they watched holograms from the past, scared and hungry, with bloated stomachs.
Then he remembered something good he’d done. And a thin aura of light appeared around him.
Then he remembered something else, and the light grew bigger. And spread to the others. Until they too started to remember.
And their lights grew and spread, propelling each one up and out, away from the realm of hungry ghosts.
Ethereal, very moving story. Was it purgatory they were in momentarily?
When we become ghosts will we be given the same fast chance for redemption?
A wonderful, good deed from one, saved them all.
Love in the form of an aura. Spread out for all to see, and feel the warmth thereof.
What a great story!
Great story! Gives us all hope ?
Sorry not sure where the question mark came from!
Nice. Thoughtful.
Nice story! I hope this place exists in the afterworld. I really enjoyed this!
