“It’s the only money I have!”
He thanked Gamblia. He laughed at her. “They always say that! Yet they keep giving.”
Gamblia wasn’t listening. She cried as she handed over everything she owned. It was like magic. The more he took, the more she wanted to give. He never gave her much in return.
“Here are my dreams!”
He was happy to receive anything Gamblia had to give. He accepted anything. He had no other choice.
“People keep giving me what they have. I don’t ask for anything. They just handed it to me. I’m so lucky!” said the slots machine.
Great twist ending. I swear I didn’t see that one coming! Good job.
Thank you much.
Interesting idea, handing dreams over to an inanimate entity, but then gamblia does have a master.
She sure does. Compulsive gamblers have masters just like drug addicts or any other addiction. Thank you for you comment.
Good angle. Effective story.
Thank you much.
