People shudder when they discover I live in a graveyard.
Most recoil when they imagine eating breakfast six feet above someone’s dead grandmother. Some are disapproving, claiming it’s disrespectful to piss in a burial ground. A rare few are intrigued, although I can see from their eyes they think it’s weird, macabre, and downright creepy.
In the end, however, they all prove to be the same. They always ask why anyone would want to live among the dead, to which I answer, someone has to take care of their house.
That’s when I tell them: “Besides, you live here too now.”
love the story and, wow, last sentence is just perfect

Great tale in such few words.
On first reading, this story seemed pleasant and light. It took a few moments before that brilliant last line registered. Truly great piece of writing.
