“I love your hair,” he said while brushing Ashley’s newly-cut bangs from her forehead.
She rolled her eyes, giving him a cold stare. “My hair is frizzy, flat and lacks bounce and volume. The hairdresser informed me yet again yesterday. My skin on the other hand always receives compliments, and the dimpled cheeks are a show stopper.” She said teasingly.
“I love your hair because I know you hate it. And I think every part of you deserves all my love.”
Ashley resisted rolling her eyes again and decided to have faith that this ‘love’ would last beyond the first month.
