“How was your life?” asked Saint Peter.
“Good, but it ended too soon. Twenty-five is too young to go.”
“Some don’t get even half that.”
“True. I shouldn’t complain. I was given the gift of prophecy early in life. That must be rare. Often I saw only disasters coming, but at least I knew about my own death years before it came.”
“You’re wrong,” said Saint Peter, locking the pearly gates.
“About what?”
“About seeing the future. You were gifted, but that wasn’t the ability you were given.”
“Really?”
“You only saw what you created. You were actually manipulating the future.”
What a nice touch. I liked it.
I really liked this story. It’s thought-provoking. How much do our actions actually change the future?
Wow. I read it twice. A combination of visual and thought that’s very nice.
Ooooo. Nice.
