“Ooooh, trail mix!” the woman gushes, sashaying toward the hair-netted gentleman palming a serving tray. “I love trail mix.”
She plucks a sample cup, wolfs it down, then sucks in her cheeks. “Is that Worcestershire I taste?” She engulfs a second. “Saffron?” After a third helping, finger to her lips, she beams, “Definitely echinacea.”
Five more cups she snatches before a throat clears, a foot taps, and a voice from behind whines, “C’mon already!”
Chin to the air, the woman struts away, arms crossed. Moments later, she bustles toward another hair-nettled gentleman. “Ooooh, cheese!” She takes a sample. “I love cheese.”
Funny! I witnessed those sample hoarders many times!

Locally at Central Market, you can literally sample food at different departments as you shop on the way to check out.
