I looked up from my phone for just a second. She was still shouting. I looked back down, choosing instead to ignore the real world for whatever was scrolling past my screen.
She was furious and I didn’t care.
Screaming how she was over it, how she couldn’t live like this anymore. Calling me a child or a liar, something along those lines.
She walked out of my house, suitcase trailing along behind her. I wasn’t paying any attention. I watched the overnight internet sensations fly by with a flick of my thumb. Praying one day that I might become one.
