Justus

My mother lost Justus, a nasty, frizzy Schnauzer! That morning she sent her housekeeper Cahango looking for Justus. Cahango ran like a fireball was after him.

Mother left for work and the house was quiet.

When she returned she yelled, “Cahango? Where are you?” Silence.

Around 8 p.m. she heard a brouhaha at the end of the short road. Mother went to investigate.

Cahango was pulling an animal, while people with sticks attempted to beat Cahango for stealing.

Mother was aghast. “It looks nothing like my gorgeous Justus!”

When Cahango approached stunned Mother, the scruffy animal on the rope said, “Baaah!”
