He arrived in the world two weeks late. He was late for his high school graduation, his college graduation, his first job job interview. He was late for work and late getting home. He was late for his wedding and his daughter’s wedding. He was late for his granddaughter’s birth. His excuses were convoluted, outrageous, totally unbelievable. When he died, his hearse hit a massive traffic jam on the way to the cemetery. He was an hour late for his graveside service. The driver said it was the fault of the GPS. Nobody would believe that story, not even his passenger.
