Tara needed that administrative assistant job at Levy Attorneys at Law. Unemployed with very little savings, she’d have to move out of her apartment.
Tara exited the third floor. She appeared professional in her navy blue suit and navy pumps.
“I’m Tara O’Connell, here to meet with Mr. Levy for the administrative assistant position.”
“Oh. Didn’t anyone call you? The position was filled two days ago.”
Anguished, Tara headed to the elevator.
“Ms. O’Connell, wait! Sorry for the confusion; that was a different position with Mr. Greg Levy. Mr. John Levy will meet with you now.”
Life was full of surprises.
Clever and tight. Well done!
