Jim zoomed down the motorway, growing more alarmed: the brakes weren’t working. Neither was the handbrake. His speed: well over 100mph…
“This is it!” he cried, his vision blurring; his heart, hopeless.
He reached a bend at lightning speed. Seconds before crashing, he screamed in terror as everything went black.
“Jimmy?” a female voice whispered.
He saw a light, gradually getting brighter.
Another voice, this one pre-recorded, announced, Thanks for trying the Extreme 4D Racing Simulator! See you soon!
Panic-stricken, he looked at his mom.
“I told you this was for big kids, Jimmy. Come on, let me drive you home.”
Nice reveal at the end.
Very good story. I enjoyed reading this.
Some mothers have really scary driving too 🙂
Ha ha!
haha, lovely! Poor Jimmy!
HAHA great story – I was ready for some afterlife talking to him.
