LOST
My sense of humour
Last seen running from the funeral, hasn’t been seen since;
Mostly light and fluffy with a dark tinge around the ears, carries a sarcastic kink in its tail.
Could be trapped, please check your shed and garage;
I’m told it will find its way home eventually
If found please ring number provided, it was much loved.
FOUND
Stray sense of humour
Light in colour, fur matted and weak
Suffering from loss, it’ll require years of rehabilitation;
If you have lost yours please ring the adoption centre promptly; if no response we will seek a good home.
This has got to be one of my favorite 101 Word stories so far!
Clever, clever story. Love the style and venue of placing an advertisement!
I can relate to this story. Such a good piece of writing, it captures an aspect of grief so well.
There’s so much more to this than first meets the eye – some different interpretations, intended or not. Loved it.
This is brilliant! Such an original idea and so relatable. Well done!

I really like this, multi layered. Well done.
Loved it. It was the perfect way to start my day – thank you! It also makes me curious if our humors met each other in passing mine went missing as well. I wonder what they saw out on their journeys. 😉 Great story Emma. Keep up the good work.
Very clever.
