She created a mess of love. She tells him all the things she did wrong. She is trying to solve it, sort it out. He doesn’t respond, but she imagines he does. She imagines he responds in the night while she is sleeping. He’ll say let’s talk about it on Tuesday.
She imagines they talk about it on Tuesday. While she is explaining it, the rain will begin to fall. As the rain pours, she’ll start crying. And as she cries, he kisses her.
By then, she’ll give up trying to explain. He’ll understand. Or at least, she hopes he will.
Leaves me wondering, but in a good way.
Such a wistful story, full of longing for what will never be. At least that is my take on it
